Today, I went out to Shackleford Banks with my friend and colleague, Alan Stinar. If you aren’t familiar with Shackleford Banks, it’s situated on the coast of North Carolina on an island just off of Beaufort and is the home to wild ponies which have lived for over 400 years.

Afghanistan Haboob A haboob is a type of intense dust storm carried on an atmospheric gravity current. Haboobs occur regularly in arid regions throughout the world.
We took shelter in a bay about 2 miles off shore of Morocco due to the insane seas over night. This is a shot of the Atlas Mountains (obviously just the outskirts as these are more like hills).
